The idea behind the Winter Moot is that we have a week in the woods with no pressures, it can be a time to relax, a time to practice skills and have a great experience.  After the success of last years Moot we are going to focus even more on food and cooking.

Because we’re aiming for a more relaxed Moot there will not lots of scheduled workshops, but we will be butchering, baking, roasting and making lots of other lovely nibbles.  Please note that there will be an ‘at cost’ charge for meat and ingredients etc for those participating.

So, if you want to have a no pressure break in a beautiful location (we’re hoping for snow but last year was 20c !!), or practice your fire skills, or your cooking and baking skills, or you’d like to try something completely new, the Winter Moot is a great place to do it.
